BYCB TOURNAMENT

Backyard Crateball Tournament is an event to help raise awareness on the benefits of drinking milk. To appeal to the younger athletic audience we remodeled the traditional inner city game of crateball, which is essentially basketball but with a milk crate as a hoop, and created a memorable experience that spanned across several US cities.

AIR MAX N95

AIR MAX N95

In 2020, Air Max Day landed right in the middle of the COVID-19 timeline. Shortages on face masks threatened the safety of a lot of people, leading sportswear brands and manufacturing companies to devote their effort and resources to make up for the scarcity. Inspired by Air Max Day and the new pandemic that took over our world, I decided to create a prototype design influenced by Nike’s Air Max 95 and the 3M N95 mask.

The radial layers was heavily dictated by the unique gradient design on the AM95 shoe, highlighting the masks purifying technology as it starts from the center bubble.

Workspace Factory

Workspace Factory

At the end of 2020, we were tasked to create a campaign for the launch of Google Workspace which was formerly known as G Suite. The objective was to promote the products and their unique features, but the challenge was to do so in a way that didn’t solely focus on the UI. So we created The Workspace Factory, a world that allows us to visualize and highlight the nuances of collaboration and convenience in a dynamic way.

I GOT FIVE ON IT

I GOT FIVE ON IT

A campaign that celebrates the top leading shot blockers in the NBA. These were players that dominated the paint and defended the hoop at all costs. Not by rejecting shots with a finger, but by putting a full palm on forceful dunk attempts. Redefining the popular 90’s hip hop song, “I got five on it”, to become a basketball term that means putting all five fingers on a shot block.

EMPIRE

EMPIRE

I designed this poster in celebration of National Small Business Week. It’s a graphical memoir of my life’s encounters with Empire, a Chinese restaurant that was on the street I grew up on. My goal was to acknowledge and highlight how impactful these local stores can be beyond our cognitive recognition.

US CLOSED

US CLOSED

A speakeasy bar, located in the basement of the historical Radio Wave building. The front is a coffee shop (Patent Coffee), and the back is a Tesla inspired bar. It transports it’s guests back to the 1930’s, an era filled with scientists and inventors who changed our world with their intellect and madness.

BBQ

BBQ

Born & Bred in Queens
It all started off as a logo project, and then it transformed itself into a celebratory day filled with Queens talent. This project wasn’t only driven by the pride in my borough, but also of how tired I was of Queens getting overlooked; as if it’s not the biggest borough in NYC and the most multicultural place on earth. This logo gave me a reason and a platform to showoff some of the talent Queens has produced. With the help of twelve artist, four dj’s and one cook, the first BBQ (Born & Bred in Queens) came to life.
